rhadio does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. Your privacy is of paramount importance to us. The app operates strictly as a local macOS client for user-configured audio streams.
2. Data Collection and Storage
All application settings, station bookmarks, volume levels, and preferences are stored exclusively on your local device using standard macOS UserDefaults within a sandboxed App Group (group.com.ahoi.rhadio).
This local data is never transmitted to our servers or any third parties.
3. Network Connections
rhadio initiates network connections strictly for two purposes:
- Audio Streaming: Connecting to user-defined radio stream URLs to fetch and play audio.
- Album Artwork Lookup: When a stream provides ICY song metadata (artist and title), rhadio queries Apple's public iTunes Search API to fetch matching album cover artwork. No personal user data is attached to these queries.
4. Analytics and Advertising
rhadio contains zero third-party tracking SDKs, zero analytics frameworks, and zero advertising networks. We do not track your listening habits, device identifiers, or location.
